Two years ago, Ian, Ron, Lloyd and I represented South Wales at the same event when held at Lletty, North Wales. Ron in his role as South Wales Fell Running Manager is hoping that we can put together an even more formidable outfit

I could easily be persuaded to go. The fell and XC races have helped my fitness a lot so far this year

Dear All In my capacity as South Wales Region Mountain Running Secretary, I would like to take a team to compete in the Intercounties Fell Running Championships, which is being held in conjunction with the Shining Tor race in the Peak District on Saturday 19th May. If the weather is good you may not need them but you need to come prepared: Windproof whole body cover (or if the weather is particularly bad other body cover appropriate for such conditions) Whistle and compass Map (which can be downloaded from fellraces.co.uk)

Yes a great event today, weather was good too which meant a relaxing of the kit requirements. Chuffed with my run on such a challenging course, great views and a good banter afterwards.
Gareth was suffering with stomach problems and needs to take it easy this week to recover for the Rack Raid next weekend  |
