"We have had some issues with arranging the races for 2012, so we are sorry to say the series will not comprise as many races as we normally have, but we hope you will support and enjoy our 3 & 4 mile events as usual! Normal service will be resumed in 2013. Please note that as new charges may apply for use of the park in 2012 we may have to revise our pricing ........ - this will be updated online before entries open"

It appears that only the 2 mile race is affected. uk.srichinmoyraces.org/races/cardiff

I find the comment that "new charges may apply for use of the park in 2012" somewhat disturbing.

I think it's been completely cancelled based on this thread on the Croups forum :(

Phil Cook opens with:
Just to let you know, I've just spoken to R&B they have cancelled thus years series as they didn't have enough time to organise the events!

If anyone wants to do a timed 2 mile Friday starting as I suggested previously approx 108 metres North of the 1K/4K markers on the Parkrun course, then I have a stopwatch.

We are very sorry to have to inform everyone of the cancellation of all the 2012 Self Transcendence Races in Cardiff. There are many reasons for this, but they are essentially temporary. We will be back with all 4 races next year with happy faces and goody bags. Thank you all for your support in the past, and we look forward to seeing you soon at Run and Become.
We would be very grateful if you would inform your Club members about this.
