San Domenico now affiliated to British Triathlon

San Domenico is now affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation (BTF) and Welsh Triathlon, this will allow members to join the triathlon federation at a discounted rate with discounted entry fees for events. Speak to Ian if you want more information.

Motivation

When it’s pouring down with rain, it’s dark or you're busy, going out for a run might seem the last thing on your mind. By being part of a club you'll be in the company of others who understand that at times, you can find any old reason not to run; but by being part of a club network you'll have the encouragement to get up off the sofa and out onto the roads and you may actually enjoy it!

Sally wins the Cardiff Bay 5M

Sally continued her great form of 2010 by finishing 1st lady in the TATA Cardiff Bay 5M in a time of 31:12. Another PB and a great performance, well done Sally.

15 club members ran in the race with several close fought battles: Stephen Shields 30:15 (19th), Mickey Havard 30:23 (20th), Alistair Wood 30:44 (23rd), Glyn Sansom 31:02 (30th), Sally Haselhurst 31:12 (34th), James Potts 31:46 (45th), Ronald Morris 31:52 (46th), Phil Bristow 33:25 (73rd), Dominic Shields 34:07 (89th), Susannah Stonehouse 35:51 (112th), Victoria McHale 36:06 (114th), Wendy Owen 36:59 (132nd), Ruth Barrett 39:43 (191st), Mark Ryan 41:43 (236th), Claire House 42:32 (253rd).


 

Sally 1st lady in Gloucester Marathon!

Sally won the ladies race in the Gloucester Marathon in 3:05:33.

A fantastic PB and performance, well done Sally - championship entry for Virgin London Marathon for the next two years!
