The second best race I've done, I have entry forms which I will scan in and I'll add the course profile too or to save time, last year's thread on here http://www.sandomenico.org.uk/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=94&jfile=index.php&topic=667.0

Entry form is here: =http://www.rhayaderac.org.uk/20Mile%20Round%20The%20Lakes%20entry%20form%202010.doc

If you're doing this why not do the San Domenico 20 Miler the following weekend as well, back to back 20's are ideal in preparation for a marathon.

Note: This does not apply to San Domenico members who will be marshaling our 20 miler, thought I would mention this before Alistair replies 'yes'.

I'm not sure that I approve of publicising races that compete with our 20: especially when our's is so much better.

Hmm, I said to Ian that he's welcome to move it to the secret squirrel area but I presume that he was of the mind that as this is principally a forum for San Domenico runners who won't be running our race due to being required as marshals then why not?
I don't think its any reflection on our race that Rhayader happens to take place in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The way I see it is that there are endless places where people will source their race information from, hopefully we will pick up a few entries for our race when we distribute race entry leaflets at the Rhayader 20. One year we picked up 30 entries where people ran both races. Likewise we will also leaflet the Gloucester 20M earlier in March.

Also by giving praise where praise is due, you win respect for telling it like it is especially when it is apparently not to your advantage in the short-term. People remember stuff like that.

What happened to my post about Merthyr being an area of "outstanding natural beauty"?

Rowena was watching and coped well with suppressing the urge to run it with a foot in plaster  Smiley

Results out already http://www.onlineraceresults.org.uk/rhayader20-2010.htm

Well done Dom

I hadn't realised that Rhayader and assumed you were just marshalling at the Park Run out of the goodness of your heart.

Looking at how close you were to the likes of Katie and Libby, that performance is bound to bode well for a sub 3 30 marathon at Paris or London (or both).
